As a technical writer, your role will involve the creation of new technical documentation and graphics for both customer and internal use. You will also take on the responsibility of updating, refining, and maintaining existing materials. This will require collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure that the information is relevant, modern, and user-friendly.

Your primary focus will be working alongside various cross-functional teams, including Learning Design, R&D, Business Development, Product Management, and our customers, to produce high-quality technical content that meets our client’s standards. The documentation you create will be designed to be both pedagogically sound and accessible to users of varying levels of technical expertise.

In addition to developing new documentation aimed at both technical and non-technical audiences, you will ensure current documents are accurate and relevant. As a super user of the content management system, you will maintain the organization and accessibility of all content, ensuring it is consistently updated.

A significant part of your role will be to create graphical illustrations and artwork for technical documentation and training materials. This entails close collaboration with technical writers, R&D teams, Product Management, and customers to deliver graphics that are not only accurate and professional but also effective in teaching and user comprehension. You will be responsible for designing various forms of graphics, including 2D, 3D, static, and dynamic content such as animations and videos for both customer and internal training purposes.

Your ability to navigate engineering master models in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, specifically Teamcenter, will be crucial as you pull necessary model details for precise technical illustrations. Additionally, you will be expected to research and adopt new technologies and trends in technical graphics to continuously improve the quality and impact of our documentation.
